Welcome to The Study Nook: Where Every Mind Matters
The Study Nook is a family-owned-and-operated tutoring company with a clear mission: to celebrate and support the "neuro-spicy" and "neuro-sparkly" learners who often struggle to find their place in traditional educational settings.
Born from personal experience with dyslexia, we understand firsthand the challenges that come with learning differently. This insight has shaped our passion for working with children who have been labelled as "tricky" or "challenging" - those amazing young minds who have often bounced from tutor to tutor because "nobody gets them."
Our Difference
At The Study Nook we're the business that welcomes and celebrates neurodivergent learners. We don't see these students as problems to be fixed - we recognise them as extraordinary minds that simply learn in unique ways.
Our approach goes beyond traditional tutoring. While we provide expert support in reading, writing, spelling and maths, we also collaborate with a network of complementary specialists to offer comprehensive wrap-around support for children with diagnosed or suspected additional learning needs.
Who We Support
We proudly serve:
School students who need additional learning support
Homeschool students requiring specialised education
Children with diagnosed learning differences
Young people with suspected additional learning needs
Students who haven't found success with traditional tutoring approaches
Our Commitment
At The Study Nook, our qualified teachers and tutors employ evidence-based practices tailored to each student's unique learning needs. We focus on building confidence, fostering understanding, and supporting learning success in environments where students feel truly seen and valued.
Join our family at The Study Nook, where we don't just teach subjects - we see, understand and celebrate extraordinary minds. Let us help your child discover their potential and develop a genuine love for learning through personalised education and compassionate support.
If you're a parent seeking additional support for a child with unique learning needs - no matter how spicy or sparkly - we'd love to welcome you to The Study Nook family.
